Really Good Route

I know some.....really...I DO!

No, I like to get lost...I guess.....

Whilst riding with Phillip yesterday, I convinced him that I knew 'some good routes'...I sorta knew where I was...but I mostly didn't....We ended up getting lost and I ended up going 2 more hours than I was supposed to be going....but it was all in good fun, and riding the gravel roads for an hour was good...I actually had some fun in doing so...After getting lost, and crossing I-35, we decided to motorpace traffic, or weave in and out of traffic at super duper high speeds was awesome.....I had a thoroughly swell time....We shared a whole mess of laughs....

Then we got back to Phillips place, and he was bein a homo....so he took me home and prepared for some hetrosexual love.....and I commend him for that....I really hope BFFL stands for 'best friends for life' and not, well....figure it out....I love women...

2008 BH Connect Ride Report

I recently recieved my Bh Connect for the 2009 race season, and I really like it...It pretty much sums up a 'race bike'....It has its flaws, as does any bike....and it has its attributes...

I have ridden the bike for several days now, including one race...and it performed pretty well....

In out of the saddle efforts, I would say this bike excels...very well...It's short chain stays, and beefy bottom bracket area allow for very quick accelerations, as well as making for a mountain goat of a climbing bike...To say this bike can't hold a line, or is unstable at high speeds is simply not true....It's slack compact geometry and long'ish' toptube make it an average decender when going down fast winding descents.....It, however is not the most stable of bikes....When up to speed the bike holds its own....

I really like the bike, and I don't really want to give it up....Keep up the good work BH...

Totally Stoked, umm....man?

Race season is here!

So glad it is too, I was beginning to hate my leg warmers, jackets, and Qoleum #3...stuff burns in the shower...

The weather is taking, well sort of...a turn for the better...With the exception of the typical February tornadoes...yeah, Oklahoma weather = typical...? no, nothing is typical in Oklahoma as far as weather is concerned...

thank god for Gary England....that man is a genius....

Back to racing.....Last weekend was a joke...hahahahaha, see it was a funny one...I got 54th in the Time Trial...and a big fat DNF in the Criterium...and another DNF in the road race.....hahaha, see its funny.....

The next race will be tons better, I can assure you that it will...

Mellow Yellow

I have, very recently...well sorta....taken up a mellow outlook on life...

I have always been a pretty mellow dude, I have a history of not caring about important things, not doing things or having an 'oh well' attitude....

Is this bad?

Well, yes and no.

It could be said that, yes it is bad. For example: What if I lost a race, because I cramped up......and at the end of the race I was like....ohhhhh welllll....and I didn't do anything about it...or think about it after the race...or if I got hit by a car...and didnt do anything....Just ohh well....Serious ramifications come from these things....I won't ever learn from my mistakes, or I won't bring people to justice...or whatever....

Well, after races....if I lose, and I really wanted to win.....I get pretty pissed...I have thrown bikes/helmets, yelled thousands of expletives, damned hundreds to hades and cursed god for races not going my way..............But I have learned that doing so doesn't help me to win the race....It does nothing...except make me look stupid....and I do a pretty good job of doing that off the bike....So instead of being an idiot, I stop think about what happened and ask myself, my coach, my dad or whomever...what could I have done differently...and I learn from those mistakes...I learn the hard way..by making mistakes....I will make a butt load more, and I will learn from those..............

So don't get mad....jut chill out...

Easier said than done though.....

But good luck on that...................

Anyway.....The BH rides really nice...its stiff, comfy, and quick...all grand things in a race bike....
